Back when I lived in Boston I used to give guitar lessons a lot. A LOT! And I loved doing it! I loved meeting new guitar players, some who had been playing for a while, some who were just just beginning and some who were somewhere in between. It was great to be able to share what I had learned over my many years of playing guitar and to also be able to share my opinions and viewpoints on playing guitar and music in general and to hear the thoughts of all of my students as well. I loved it! Loved it! Anyway, I’ve really missed doing it, so I’ve gotten back into it again. I can give in person lessons in and around Nashville as long as it’s within a reasonable distance. And of course if you can come out to me even better! I can also give online real time video streaming lessons via Zoom or any of the streaming/video services or apps. I know a lot of teachers sometimes charge a kinda hefty figure for lessons, but I like to keep my prices reasonable, I don't want anyone to feel they can’t afford to take a lesson from me. So with that in mind, my rates are $25 for a 30 minute lesson, or $100 for a 5 lesson pack (with each lesson being 30 minutes long). I also offer 45 minute long lessons, and for that my rate will be $35. You can also get a 5 pack of 45 minute lessons for $150. I have to say though, that for most students 45 minutes is ideal, it's enough time to get into new ideas and things for you to work on or to build up your knowledge of guitar if you're new to it. But if you wish to take a shorter lesson, that’s fine as well, 30 minutes is perfect for just getting to the heart of the matter and then you can sit down and dig in and practice and work on what we went over afterwards. I love doing this either way.
